The Challenge


Deliver a personalized interest-based experience to developers for Packt's Language Week campaign.

The Idea


  • Communicate the message of our campaign with a few lines code
  • Uniquely personalize the message down to individual subscriber interests
  • Ensure readabiity and compatibility across different clients and devices

Execution


In order to avoid using images that may not load on all email clients by default, I opted to create a text-based design, using simple styling to create a console look and feel. Another upside to this approach is the faster delivery thanks to the lower email size, and the guarantee of consistency, as any monospace font can successfully deliver the intended visual idea.

Final Result


Each subscriber received an email which communicated the message of the campaign with code, in a unique and quirky way.
